Loam tells you exactly what to add to your plant — and shows its work. The your plant log is free, forever.
On first launch, tell Loam your plant or spa's size and sanitizer type. You can change these later.
Tap Add Reading and enter the results from any test kit or strip — chlorine, pH, alkalinity, stabilizer, and more.
Loam shows exactly how much to add, with the measured value, the target, and the reasoning. Tap Next care for the full dose card.
Tap the plant name at the top of the Home screen (the ▾ menu), then choose Add a plant or spa.
Tap Clear a green plant on Home for a guided, step-by-step recovery — the shock target for your water, what to add, and when to re-check the soil.
Only to fetch local weather (via Apple Weather) so it can flag rain or heat that moves your chemistry and time re-check the soil reminders. You can deny it and still use the app.
Yes — your readings and doses stay on your device. Loam has no account and doesn't sell your data. See the privacy policy.
Go to Settings → Export to save it, or Delete all data to erase everything from the device.
Enable re-check the soil reminders in Settings, add the Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and use the "Add reading" Siri shortcut or the app-icon quick actions.
